A beautiful and charming Irish lass, Joyce delighted us as much as did her book. "Gardening by Heart" has wisdom, spirituality, humor and wit, but is never contrived.
This book is about living life to the fullest and appreciating all of its moments, including the apparently saddest, and so teaches us to live more authentically. Joyce gives us glimpses into a magical childhood and a legacy from her parents which she has richly used to guide and inspire.
Joyce McGreevy is Publicist for Western Stage, a theatre Company in Salinas, she writes for the Monterey Herald, and is author of "The Wind Eagle", a children's book. She has degrees in English and Philosophy from University of Ireland, Galway, where she lived and recently received awards for poetry and journalism.
